Beats me. Though I don't know why you're trying to hit cerebrum for directly for DNS.

I guess I'll make mail.jwz.org and mail.dnalounge.com be A instead of CNAME instead of changing MX on all the other domains. Less places to edit, and should be the same, right?

I dunno, everything looks fine from here. I have been receiving my usual firehose of email.

Strictly speaking you shouldn't have an mx record point to a CNAME - it should to go directly to an A record.
Most MTA's these days can cope with that, it's possible that the one that Rony is using can't, hence the bounce.
Fix: change the MX from mail.jwz.org to cerebrum.dnalounge.com, skipping the CNAME in the middle.
Well, that's completely dumb.
I guess I'll make mail.jwz.org and mail.dnalounge.com be A instead of CNAME instead of changing MX on all the other domains. Less places to edit, and should be the same, right?
just that should work too.
