I love your libertarian commenter over on the DNA Lounge blog who assume all the bureaucracy in SF is there to sate some crazy liberal craving for red tape. SF is anti-fun (and corrupt generally) because of how powerful and entrenched the real estate development lobby is. In other words, it's already a fucking libertarian paradise.
You know, normally I would have banned him by now, but I was letting him go because it's nice to have such a wonderful "this is why" to point to when people ask "why do you make fun of Libertarians?" But, nah, he's just not that funny. I'll go take care of that now.
